Recently, our clinic has been equipped with an ultrasound machine. Now patients will have greater access to examinations using ultrasound, which will help in making quicker diagnoses. In our team, we have doctors who have completed the necessary training to perform such examinations.

It is thanks to the project “Support for Primary Health Care (PHC)” that we obtained funding for the purchase of the ultrasound machine.
Project description through which we obtained the ultrasound
Villa Med sp. z o.o. is implementing the grant project entitled “Support for Primary Health Care (PHC)” based on an agreement signed with the National Health Fund. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021–2027 Program.
The total value of the Project is PLN 1,250,000,000.00, of which the contribution from the European Funds amounts to PLN 996,375,000.00.
Villa Med sp. z o.o. received a grant of PLN 288,500 for the implementation of the undertaking. With the funds received, we will purchase an ultrasound machine and computer software necessary for the daily work of the clinic.
The project is addressed to all entities providing medical services that have a contract with the National Health Fund for the provision of services within PHC, and its results will be available to the patients of the facility.
Main goals of the Project
- Increase access to PHC services operating in economically less developed areas, rural areas, and areas at risk of losing/reducing access to PHC, by providing adequate support in equipping these entities with necessary equipment, including diagnostic equipment
- Support in infrastructure necessary for carrying out medical activities aimed at adapting and improving the functionality of premises to expand health services in the field of prevention, diagnostics, and treatment at the PHC level in the context of the development of coordinated care
- Increase the availability and efficiency of the healthcare system in reducing regional disparities in access to health services
Expected outcomes of the Project
- Increased access to basic and specialist health services
- Better protection of citizens’ health and well-being against threats and negative effects related to the environment
- Opening of new PHC facilities, especially in areas with lower population density
- Improved quality of health services and strengthened resilience of the medical system
